Dell XPS 14 Ultrabook Overview

Dell XPS 14 Ultrabook offers premium performance and is a slightly smaller sibling to its XPS 15. The  XPS 14 weighs 4.6 pounds and is available in varying configurations. The XPS 14 can be referred to as a mid-size laptop or an ultrabook as it enjoys the velvety magnesium black keyboard deck and is a backlit keyboard. It features a Gorilla Glass faced display that is vibrant and has loud speakers.  

 

Dell XPS 14 ultrabook has an aluminum and black color scheme such that it appears to have an outside Tin Man and inside Batman appearance. The power and speed of XPS 14 does not need a 15 inch full blown screen or optical drive.

 

The XPS 14 presents excellent strength and simplicity. It has aluminum frame and lid with rounded corners. The lid is a thin aluminum slab and houses a 14.0 inch sparkling ultrabook framed in glossy black and has a 1600x900 resolution display.

 

The performance is a mixed bag offering excellent battery life and overall performance. Rightly positioned between XPS 13 and 15, this XPS ultrabook boasts of widescreen and high resolution display. The base is grippy plastic featuring thick aluminum frame. The rear grille covers feature a built in fan and the first covers have speakers downward facing. The flat center is a non-slip silicone, protective mat. It is a bit heavy, but you have all the reasons to accept this weight , if you value good features of multimedia.
